Walter P. Chrysler said, “The reason so many people never get anywhere in life is because when opportunity knocks, they’re out in the backyard looking for four-leaf clovers.”
With hindsight many people are able to recognize an opportunity after it’s already passed them by. Seeing opportunities coming – that’s a different matter altogether. Opportunities are seldom labeled in flashing neon lights. That’s why we have to learn what they look like and how to seize them. The most successful people make it their responsibility to go out and find them.
Put another way, opportunity only dances with those already on the dance floor and who aren’t afraid to ask.
